Julius Molife is a Zumba instructor based in Brooklyn, NY and runs his own classes. Men, women, and teenagers of all ages attend his popular classes, and he is well known for his energetic personality. Zumba is a dance fitness program created in the 1990’s by Colombian dancer and choreographer Alberto Perez. It involves a variety of dance forms including hip-hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue, mambo and martial arts.
Julius got into the Zumba fitness scene in the year 2001, and has since become a very popular teacher in New York. He is respected for his contribution to the world of Zumba, and for increasing the fan base. He believes that exercise should be fun, and not something that people should dread. That’s why he believes that this program is an interesting and cool way of losing weight and becoming fit.
Julius Molife is licensed by the Zumba Academy, and is officially credited to teach anywhere. His sessions are typically about an hour long include music with fast and slow rhythms, as well as resistance training. He tries to incorporate a plethora of moves that will work the various different muscles in our body. With a comprehensive approach to this form of fitness, Julius is slowly helping many people change their bodies for the best.
He uses music from cumbia, salsa, merengue, mambo, flamenco, chachacha, reggaeton, soca, samba, hip hop music, axé music and tango. He is skilled all types of exercises and teaches all of them at the studio. These are the following:
1. Zumba Toning - for the people who do their workouts with toning sticks. It will target the abs, thighs, arms, and other muscles throughout the body. 2. Zumba Gold - for the elderly and includes the same kind of music as the Zumba fitness party class. 3. Aqua Zumba is Zumba in a swimming pool. 4. Zumba Gold-Toning - for improving one's muscle strength, posture, mobility, and coordination. It is for older people. 5. Zumba Sentao – It is done on a chair, and involves the use of one’s own body weight. 6. ZumbaKids - for children between the ages of 4 and 12.
